By using Riwayah ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian's permission. By using Riwayah you represent that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
New users may be entitled to one free 30-minute introductory session. The free session must be redeemed within 30 days. After the free session is used, an active subscription is required to book additional sessions.
All refund requests must be submitted to Apple via your Apple ID account; Riwayah cannot issue refunds for purchases made through the App Store.
You agree not to: harass other users, upload unlawful or infringing content, attempt to interfere with the Service, scrape data, share recordings of teachers without permission, or impersonate others. Riwayah may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You retain ownership of content you upload (audio recordings, messages, homework). You grant Riwayah a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, and display that content as needed to provide the Service.
Teachers and students are independent users. Riwayah is a platform; we do not endorse or guarantee the religious accuracy of any teacher's instruction. You are responsible for choosing whom you learn from.
Live tutoring sessions are conducted via Zoom Video SDK. Recording sessions without the other party's consent is prohibited.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Riwayah disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Riwayah's total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Riwayah in the 12 months prior to the claim, or (b) $50.
You may delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or if required by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
